Every summer since 1925, campers from across the country have packed their bags and returned to the shores of Burt Lake to experience our traditions and magic. Magic is alive in the songs we sing, time around the campfire on a star-filled night and the laughter that abounds everyday. It can be seen in the personal growth and development that occurs in our secure and nurturing environment. We look forward to sharing the magic of Al-Gon-Quian with you child.
Camp Highlights:
- We offer one and two week sessions that are designed for boys and girls ages 8 to 16, with special leadership programs for our high school participants.
- Al-Gon-Quian's beautiful 150 acre site sits on the southwest shore of Burt Lake, one of the largest inland lakes in Michigan.
- Our rustic cabins sleep eight campers and two counselors and promote peer interaction, friendship and fun
- Each camper experiences an individual journey while at Al-Gon-Quian, choosing activities of interest, developing independence and exploring the natural world.
